This 57,500 sq ft learning facility was designed to act as the new “front door” to the main campus of the Michigan community college. A monochromatic brick field with contrasting horizontal bands was used to create a contemporary panelized look, while still fitting in with the existing campus. Careful design and construction allowed many mature trees on the site to be preserved, resulting in a beautiful, modern building set down gently onto the site.
