Following the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) conducted an investigation of the World Trade Center and surrounding damaged buildings. Numerous color photographs are included in the report.

This report, produced by a TMS team dispatched to the site immediately following the earthquake, details the performance of masonry structures, including reinforced masonry, unreinforced masonry, anchored veneer, parking garages, chimneys, and buildings under construction.
